Nice look, that's a Lyman 53 C I believe? I have been looking at possibly installing a peep sight also. There's not a lot of options, so I was going through my collection and looking for peep sights that were "in the ballpark" . This is what I came up with, a Marbles S20. With a little work I can easily get I good fit. It was made to fit a Savage Model 20 bolt action. Only thing holding me back is that I saw one sell recently for $150+. I got it long ago for far less. Still up in the air about it , but it would look sharp on my 25-20.

Yup Lyman 53c. The gunsmith must not have wanted to read the included installation instructions from Lyman on how to install properly to align it square and level. They recommend drilling and tapping one hole then attaching mount to make sure it is square and then marking the second hole, removing sight and drilling and tapping second hole. The sight is a bit crooked, the result of doing both holes at the same time. It works and the gun shoots well but it does look a bit amateurish.

I only have one M219 with a receiver "Peep" sight. However, it was a sight that was modified to fit. It was not one made for these M219/220's. As best I can tell, no guns came from the factory drilled and tapped for these sights.
