Hi all….when my affinity for “old redneck deer guns” and single shot rifles collided I ended up stuck on the 219. I’m still in the hunt for one but I stumbled on something interesting….
My grandfather was a big time gun guy and collector and I found a 1945 Stoeger catalog in a box of gun books. This should be of interest…..Particularly in the model numbers of the combo utility offerings. I’m not sure if these are legit Savage model designations or something Stoeger bestowed to differentiate the models they carried. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks for posting. Yes, they are official Savage model numbers.

I'll take one of each. And I'll even pay the extra $4.25 for a .410/.22 Hornet combo!
