Title: 220 forend wood?
Post by: Mike Armstrong on April 22, 2015, 12:24:01 PM
Can somebody remind me which of the replacement wood suppliers makes replacement wood for the 220?  Boyds?  Stockies?  I have the "back half" of a nice early Utica 220 (like the one in Garnett's previous post), a 20 guage Utica barrel (from a different gun), and an appropriate forend iron,  but no forend wood.   Trying to make up a nice "starter" gun for a kid.  (Or anybody else, for that matter).

Mike, I purchased a very nice walnut stock and forearm, semi-inletted, on the internet.  I think I got it from Boyd's but not sure since i destroyed the box.  The only thing I can find today on Boyd's web site are fully finished ones.  Now that I think about it, I remember purchasing it off Ebay.  they were reasonably priced.  Good luck on your project.  Garnett
