Just spent a highly pleasurable hour or so looking over the new book by Mr. Stancil on our loved Savage 219's and 220's.  I highly recommend that if you have an interest in these single shots, you should have this book.  It goes much deeper into the internal design changes over the years with many detailed photos.  For the brave and adventurous of us, there is a detailed disassemble procedure listed as well.

Trooper Dan, Many thanks for your kind words about my book!  Speaking for myself.....disassembly and (especially) re-assembly is not for the weak at heart! :)  I do also provide pictures with the instructions.  Thanks again for your comment!  Best wishes,  Garnett
