I inherited from my brother a Savage 219 originally chambered in 22 Hornet but has been converted to 219 Zipper. I also have reloading dies and forming dies to convert from 30-30. plus a couple boxes of vintage ammo and a bunch of brass. It has a cheap Bushnell scope on it now and I would like to use it for prairie dogs and ground squirrels in the future. Thinking a 45 grain bullet or thereabouts. I need to try a few and see how they shoot. Should be a fun gun.

Brian, Welcome to this forum! I also have a .219 Zipper barrel fitted to one of my "Utility" sets. I have not shot it yet. Please share with us your results when shooting yours.
