A friend sent me an auction site yesterday. It featured the sale of a M219 rifle in .32-20 caliber last June. It was on an auction site I was not aware of, in NY state. The rifle appears tp be a Second Model Utica and has a badly cracked stock. Other wise it seems to be in very good condition judging from only 2 photos. The serial number was 34. The gun sold for $150. Needless to say, my day was ruined! :'(

I feel your pain. My last disappointment on the 219/220 front was a very nicely preserved Utica 219 in .25-20 at a reasonalble price. My "I'll take it, what do you need for shipping and where do I sent my dealer's FFL copy?" was met with an "I don't do gun business with Californians!" Just what Nancy Pelosi loves to hear.... I know better than to waste my breath or blood pressure on guys like that.
Sad that you missed on that particular grail quest!
