I recently purchased the M220A Savage, made at Chicopee Falls in 1957. For various reasons I believe it to be a factory installed or authorized installation for Savage. It is a 30" 12 gauge. All assembly numbers match, well maybe? I will go into details in the next printing of my book. I would like to know if anyone else has a M220 with a vented rib. I have only seen one other for sale and did not examine it.
