Title: Howdy
Post by: Thaine on September 01, 2023, 02:30:35 PM
Let me introduce myself, I am a 76 year old double dipping retiree (22 years USN and 27 years DOD civilian with the AF).  My collecting interests have changed over the years.  I started at 10 with three Stevens Boy's rifles, then to Winchester Levers, on to exploring various calibers as a reloader and then to pre-WW II sporting rifles.  Along the way I have managed to acquire a modest collection of Savage 219's in 30-30, 22 Hornet, 218 Bee (rechambered Hornet), 219 Zipper Improved (another rechambered Hornet), extra 30-30 barrel and managed to snag a 25-20 on an online auction.

I found this website while looking for information on the number of 25-20s produced.  Nothing to sell, just lots to learn and perhaps some knowledge from 66 years as a "gun nut" to share.
