I am olafhardtB. I used to see pictures of Savage 219 rifles in Gun Digest and thought they looked slicker than any other centerfire rifle made. They have been a grail gun of mine for years. They became moreso after I stumbled on a 220 20gauge which I pounched on. I scarfed up a 219 22 Hornet just recently at a gun show. The shotgun was perfect but I am having to do some work on the rifle. I was glad to find this forum.

Welcome as a new member to this site.  I hope you can find some help from the posts on this forum.  What kind of problems do you have with your rifle?  Maybe some members may be able to help.  I agree with you that these are really unique guns and from what others have said, they are very accurate for the original prices.  Best wishes, Garnett
