Hi, I'm Joe From Ludowici, Ga. I've inherited a Savage 219 and am currently working with it to "bring it up to snuff". I have the 30-30 barrel. I've just replaced the stock. I have a model 220 16 ga barrel for this rifle. I'm needing to obtain a forend for the 16 ga barrel. Looking forward to sharing info and shooting stories here!

Joe, please excuse my tardiness in response to your post.  My son, Trey, and I have been to Louisville, KY to the big military show since Tuesday.  Thanks for sharing with us.  You can get a forearm from Numrich Arms or find one on EBay.  Please set us know what you have to do when you try to put the 16 gauge barrel on the 219 action.  I have found some drop right in perfectly and others have to be fitted.  Again, welcome to this formum!  Best wishes, Garnett

Hello Joe - where did you buy your stock from?  Was it an original you found, or aftermarket?
