Savage 220 Turkey Gun by Bubba
« on: March 20, 2017, 09:19:11 PM »
At a show this weekend I saw a M220B 12 gauge that someone had fitted a 40 inch barrel to.  There was a 6 inch telescope sight base welded to the top of the barrel and about a 10 inch x 1/2 inch lead filled pipe welded to the bottom of the barrel in front of the forearm.  The gun saw lots of use.   Apparently it did not shoot as well as hoped for. :)

Good 'ol Bub!  You do know that longer barreled guns shoot HARDER, don't you?  He coulda put a bayonet on that thing and saved ammo!

Maybe somebody will buy it and find a decent barrel for it....
