Dove Tail Rings?

Having trouble keeping my scope rings from sliding forward on my 219 30-30? What to do?

Take a look at this mounting system:Accu-Shot UTG 30mm/2PCs Medium Profile Airgun Rings w/Stop Pin , Black

A reader of my book recommended this scope mount.  I purchased one as research for my book.  While designed for an air rifle,  it is very well made and has the "stop" screw that should prevent movement from recoil.  If you try it, please share with us the results.  Good luck!

It is sliding on the dovetail. I had alum. rings and base and I think the alum. is to soft and not gripping good so I just ordered a set of Weaver all steel rings, maybe I can tighten them up to hold, will let you all know.
