I hope to gather and share information on this model Savage rifle.  Very little written material is available.  I am writing a book about this and the Model 220 Savage single shot hammerless shotgun in the hopes of clearing up some of the mysteries about these two models.

Fast forward to today, January 25, 2016.  With a lot of help from family and some friends, the book was published and is in the 3rd printing.  My thanks to all who have purchased it and for the kind words of my readers!
