M220 Shotgun in 28 gauge
« on: May 09, 2015, 07:35:38 PM »
Today I saw a 28 gauge Model 220 at a little get together of friends out in the country.  It was priced at $300 and was a really nice gun.    I was so busy eating good food, deer steaks, wild bore sausage, etc., I did not record the particulars.  The only thing wrong with it was the stock has been shortened.  If I had not already had one I would have bought it as you don't see them very often.  Since a good friend owned it, and it was sold to another good friend, and I was not asked about it, I did not tell the buyer about the short stock.  He is a dealer and I feel he bought it for resale.  I may be wrong, but I don't think he will make a big profit because of the cut stock.  What do you all think?  What did you pay for your 28 gauge?  I paid $500 for mine and it is a 220A from Chicopee.
