M219 in .32-20 Found!

But....sadly....not by me! :'(  I got word from a friend today who recently purchased one.  From his description it is a Second Model Utica.  It is different in that it has the Savage aluminum butt plate with the name "Savage" and Indian head on it.  That is really neat!  While this option is not offered in any Savage catalogs that I have, I have seen some non catalog things that appear to be factory original.  In past years, Colt, Marlin, and Winchester, would honor customer requests for special items on their guns.

Today, I found a M220A that also has one of these aluminum butt plates.
